Ramsay's Kitchen was a phenomenal experience on our trip to Vegas! We planned our trip around catching a bunch of shows and eating at some great restaurants and Ramsay's Kitchen was the crown jewel of the culinary side.
The staff were exemplary and made us feel like we were VIP guests, the food was out of this world and cooked to perfection. The bill was high but was totally expected and worth the cost for the incredible experience we received. I'd love to visit another Ramsay restaurant on our next trip to Vegas!
When in Vegas, Ramsay’s Kitchen should be on the list of places to visit. We had an incredible meal here on Christmas Day and what a treat!
We had a reservation at 7:15 PM and were sat right on time. The ambience is very modern, chic and appealing to the eye. This is definitely a business casual attire.
Once sat, we were greeted quickly by our server who gave us a great rundown of the menu and 5 course special. We shared a bottle of Cabernet for the table as well as tried a couple cocktails. I’d recommend a bottle of wine since a glass was $25 give or take.
I saw the beef Wellington and onion soup on our way to our seats and it looked so good that I ordered it for myself! I’m a French onion kind of girl but the onion soup was flavorful, hot and just what I needed on a cold evening. The beef Wellington was medium rare and perfectly cooked; I read previous reviews that said it was mediocre, however, that wasn’t my experience at all. It was amazing and I’d order it again in a heartbeat!
If you’re a mac and cheese fan, you’ve got to try their Gouda and cheddar mac and cheese. Not only was it great but it’s a good size as well that we split between 2 people.
The waiter was quick to check on us throughout our meal, however, we seemed to wait a good bit to receive our check. I noticed a table nearby kept looking for their server as well which is why I rated service a 4 out of 5.
As it relates to price, it’s going to be expensive. The beef Wellington alone was $85 so tack on a La carte dishes and alcohol for a group of folks, it’s easily a $500 meal. I realize this may sound like a lot and unreasonable but you’re in Vegas - save the money on an unlucky roulette table and get you and your family an incredible meal together.
We ended the night with coffee, sticky toffee desert (most popular) and chocolate mousse. I think the toffee cake won the table!
I’ll definitely be back!
Great food and atmosphere, however the attitude of the service staff is kind of arrogant. Food took more than an hour to arrive and when I asked for the soup to be specially hot they brought it cold, seemed like it was on purpose. Fortunately I asked for the manager and from that point service improved significantly. Sad the attitude of the kitchen staff on this shift is not reflective of what I have seen in other reviews. However as expected food was as good as I expected from a Ramsay’s restaurant. Crispy Skin Salmon is delicious, my Caesar’s salad was right on the spot and my wife’s chicken was delicious. Awesome courtesy desserts from the manager to compensate the huge delay on our food.
Everybody has heard about Ramsay, so we had very high expectations for this dinner. However, I have to give it 4 stars instead of the 5 stars it was supposed to have.
1) Service: amazing! No doubt, it's the level of service that fine dining should have, and I also paid a 25% tip due to the service.
2) Atmosphere: okay level. It didn't evoke any special feelings for me.
3) Food: it should be 5 stars, but I don't think so.
3a) First of all, the appetizers I ordered (crab cake and tuna tartare) were very tasty! Absolutely above my expectations!
3b) Second, the drinks also taste great! (gin and tonic, life’s a beach)
3c) Main dishes: we had scallops, beef Wellington, and salmon. The scallops were okay, cooked at the right level with a good sauce. The Beef Wellington, the dish I really wanted to try, didn't feel special; I could even make something with a similar taste. The salmon, the major reason why I took off one star, was overcooked and tasted like wood!
d) The dessert was also great! We also ordered mac & cheese for the little kid, and she loved it!
So, overall, I'm still satisfied with the dinner, but they do have room to improve, especially considering they are Ramsay's kitchen, not someone else's.
We had quite an expectation before coming here like everyone else. Ramsay's name has preceded him as a chef and that is mostly a good thing, but I don't think this is one of those.
The restaurant is a nice little, cozy place. Nothing too fancy enough to remember by, but not shabby either.
The scallops were quite juicy and flavorful. The onion soup, however, does not belong on the menu at all. It is bland, it is boring, it taste like a dish was made by an apprentice to the craft.
The beef wellington is just so-so. A really hit-or-miss. Surprisingly, the star of the show is the mash potato/creme potato side dish. It was the creamiest potato we have ever tried by far, bar none. Though I wouldn't eat more than the given portion, since it was creamy and fatty.
All in all, you should make a trip to Vegas and probably swing by just for the experience it has to offer.
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The atmosphere was welcoming, out server was amazing and I don't even know where to begin with the food. We had the 5 course tasting menu that was worth every penny. We paired it with the recommended wine menu and then finished with an espresso martini.
The best dining experience I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious and beautiful plated. My server Dana was just amazing. I will definitely come back. Totally recommend it.
Amazing food and service. Ramsay's restaurants don't fail. I learned about this one in Las Vegas, I didn't know about it previously. This was an amazing experience with their tasting menu. I was a bit confused why it wasn't originally given …
